Acid Wash
Over time, your pool may develop tough stains that are difficult to remove with regular cleaning methods. Acid wash effectively removes these stains, restoring the look of your pool.
Acid Bath
An acid bath is a process in which a concentrated amount of muriatic acid is added to the water in a pool to lower the pH level. Muriatic acid is a strong acid and a highly effective solution for adjusting the pH level of pool water. The acid bath process is usually performed to address high pH levels, and plaster defects, or prepare the pool for a chlorine shock treatment.

Salt System
If you love the idea of swimming in your very own backyard but hate certain things about chlorinated pools—like strong-smelling chemicals, burning eyes, damaged hair and struggling to find enough chlorine tablets to keep your pool clean—a saltwater pool may be on your radar.
New Plaster 30 Days Curing Process - known as Fireup
New plaster curing is a vital process that must be done correctly to ensure the longevity and appearance of your pool. During this process, the plaster is hardened, sealed, and conditioned to provide a smooth and durable surface. The first 30 days is when it develops the capability to withstand the harsh conditions of a pool environment. A properly cured plaster ensures that your pool is comfortable, safe to swim in, and looks stunning.
Step by Step of New Plaster 30 Days Curing Process
Step 1: Filling the Pool
Once the new plaster has been installed, the pool is filled with water to the recommended level.
Step 2: Chemical Treatment
The Finn’s Pool Services team will add a chemical treatment to the water to help prevent stains and color changing.
Step 3: Initial Brushing
The pool is then brushed with a soft-bristled brush to remove any excess plaster particles from the surface.
Step 4: Water Circulation
The water in the pool is then circulated constantly for 24 hours to prevent any stagnant areas and to promote even curing.
Step 5: Water Testing
The water is tested 3 times per week to maintain the proper chemical balance.
Step 6: Brushing
The pool is brushed 3 times per week to prevent the surface buildup of algae and other debris.
Step 7: Final Brushing
After 30 days, the pool is brushed to remove any remaining plaster dust or residue.
